L*K Exchange

I received this lovely and cute pillow from Karen T, USA. It is in my favourite colour too!

Pirjo of Finland also informed that she has received the piece that I stitched for her.

This had been a fun exchange, but I regret I can't take part in Round 3 due to other commitments. Anyway, I hope I can participate again in 2010. Thank you Angela and Lisa for organizing this exchange.

Exhanges Received

It was a relief when my 'secret' partner Ulla from Finland informed that she has received the L*K exchange. For a while I thought the piece has gone missing. Now, I am eligible to sign up for round 2! *smile*

And Marie from Australia has also received the ATC birthday exchange albeit after her birthday!

ATC for Marie

Last Saturday 15th August, my online group Needles and Craft had a stitching bee at Starbucks at Bangsar Village II, KL. During the bee, there was an impromptu exchange of some dress-up glass jars! Those who brought the jars were Rose, Mel, Alynn, Paul (absent, but asked Rose to bring his jar) and myself. We drew lots and I picked Alynn's jar.

Pretty jars in a row

During the bee, I also gave to my 'secret partner' Alynn the needlebook which is an on going exchange at NNC.

More details and pictures of the Bee can be found at Alynn's blog.

Thank you to all who have visited. *smile*

Happy Mail Day

I received two envelopes today - both from Australia!

The first one is from Lisa VV who is my secret partmer for the L*K exchange. She finished the stitched piece as a 'no sew cube' style and used pink braid threaded with a pink velvet ribbon. Pink is one of my fave colour!

The second package is from Marie Roy enclosing the ATC birthday exchange.

I want thank both ladies for the lovely pieces. *big smile*

AN INSPIRATION AWARD
I want to thank Cindy Mae for giving me this award. It is a pleasure to know you. Even though we live in different sides of the world, we can be connected in an instant thanks to all these technology.

Here are the rules of the above award:
1) Accept the award, post it on your blog together with the name of
the person who has granted the award and his or her blog link.
2) Pass the award to other blogs that you’ve newly discovered.
Remember to contact the bloggers to let them know
they have been chosen for this award.

Now the hard part - who to pass this award to! So many people have inspired me:

Emily - whom I first met through the cyber space and has now become a dear friend.
Mel aka Yoonie - one very talented and creative gal who can whip up a bag, a flower, etc in a very short time!
Faizon - a master tatter. She has set her passion to create such beautiful motifs from simple theads. (sorry Faizon, I have not been practising my tatting lately)

I know the above bloggers are not newly discovered (breaking rule no. 2), but I would like them to have the award as they are my inspiration to continue crafting! *smile*
